40 Under Forty: Shaping the Future Leaders of Pathology and the Medical Laboratory

Feb 13, 2018

During Member Week, Feb. 12-16, ASCP is announcing our call for applications and nominations for our 40 Under Forty program. ASCP’s 40 Under Forty program recognizes 40 highly accomplished pathologists, pathology residents and laboratory professionals under age 40 who have made significant contributions to the profession and stand out as the future of laboratory leadership.

“By providing support and encouragement to these young professionals, ASCP aims to strengthen our current medical laboratory workforce and foster greatness during this period of historic change in healthcare delivery,” says ASCP President James L. Wisecarver, MD, PhD, FASCP. “We are very fortunate to have such a talented group of individuals who are advancing their careers and helping shape the future of patient care.”

Applicants to the 40 Under Forty program have an opportunity to share how they connect with the entire clinical care team to serve patients and showcase their vision for the role of pathology or laboratory medicine in today’s evolving healthcare landscape.

Individuals who are selected to be part of the 40 Under Forty will receive complimentary enrollment in the essential LMU Core Competencies, a professionally crafted press release for their employer and personal networks, discounted registration to the cutting-edge ASCP 2018 Annual Meeting and a story featuring an individual bio in ASCP’s renowned Critical Values.
