ASCP and the American Journal of Clinical Pathology (AJCP) are seeking applications for associate editors by February 7, 2019. Learn more about the job description and how to apply here.

We invite applications in these subspecialties:

-Anatomic Pathology: GYN, Breast, Bone & Soft Tissue, GI/liver, Genitourinary, Pulmonary, Head & Neck, Dermatopathology, Neuropathology, Cytopathology, -Pediatric/Perinatal, Autopsy/Forensic
-Clinical Pathology: Chemistry, Hematopathology, Coagulation, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology
-Other Areas: Molecular pathology, Education/Training, Global Health, Informatics, Laboratory Management

Qualifications & Requirements

-Have an MD or PhD with a specialization in the appropriate subspecialty area of pathology/laboratory medicine.
-A mixture of clinical experience and academic experience is preferred.
-Previous experience working with scientific, peer-reviewed journals or other content-generating committees is preferred.
-Direct experience with pathology-directed social media is useful.
